Without doubt it's got to be Ian Henson and John Oates.
I go back 30 years with John who used to be Director of Sport and Head of Rugby at my old school Barnard Castle School in County Durham. John, like myself after teaching, went into sport and club development and we worked together within his company Prostream. Pro-Stream Sports Marketing owned Multisport4Life and was a sports "change agency" working with selective high quality partners within sports participation (RFL), school sport (Sports Xtra), swimming (STA), activity childcare (Teddy Tennis), professional clubs (Leeds Rugby) coach training (St Mary's University), franchising (Rugbytots) , sports coaching (Superstars/Coerver), tech (Teamer) within leisure innovation and participation insight.
I first met Ian when he was looking to acquire a number of children's summer camp operators in 2002 and he's never been able to shake me off since. We created a number of business opportunities together with Ian launching an International Residential Language School in Wiltshire which was sold in 2015.
